This is a FLASHBACK.

I realised I have not post birthday posts for a long time since the coming of PMR.

17th of October is Jordan's Birthday. And also dapat see my dear Shin Wei that has been gone for such a long time. Miss her so much...... =D Shes finally back! We spent time (the 4 of us) kat Tea Time sambil give Jordan his Everlast pants. Daniel was the driver of the day! Had a really really great time with each other =)

im sad because my beloved dear lizzie darling hamster died today.

her left eye bengkak right eye cannot open. I suspect some little insect bit her.

poor thing.

Really pray that i can meet her some day (in my dreams =P)

Im scared that i might not pass my Grade 8 piano exam.

but i said im kinda. not totally scared.

I belive that God knows the best for me.

and so i should not be scared at all.

that 180 degrees (story by me)

Sitting on my beloved rocking chair that is about 30 years old, the breeze blew across my wrinkled face. Somehow, it reminded me of an incident that changed my perspective towards life. It changed me inside out and turned me 180 degrees in life. It was the incident that taught me from wrong to right and also helped me in turning over a new leaf.

I was in my twenties then. I was a robber, a good for nothing fellow. All I knew was just to rob and get easy money. I even hurt several people just to feed myself. It was what I learned from my drug- addict dad and prostitute mum. I was brought up in a gangster area. Most of us either ended up bashed or became robbers, burglars or even rapists.

That night, I wanted to rob an old lady’s house because she was all alone. Despite of the age of the old lady, I found out that she worked hard in her younger days and had a lot of money kept in a money box. I was thinking to myself, “what a stupid old lady. I will take it all when I rob her later.” I waited until every light in the house was out. And so I went through the back door and into the big house. Suddenly, the lights were on and there she was standing in front of me. I reached for my knife in my pocket but to my dismay, I had left it in the bushes I was hiding in just now. The old lady did not scream like other victims of mine did. She had this smile that warmed my heart inside. It was said that this old lady was very wise. She invited me to sit down on the dining table.

I was surprised but I sat down with a cup of coffee that she had made for me. She sat down with a calm look on her face. She began talking about herself when she was much younger. It seemed she came from a broken family too and was forced to work from scraps of her own. She started as a cleaner by the road side all the way up to become the president of the current company she was working in. She never had time for a happy family, a thing she really hoped for. Home would not feel like one if there weren’t any kids running around, any mother making dinner in the kitchen or any father reading newspapers. The true joy of being in a home was having everyone around and also spending quality time, looking out for each other and solving each other’s problems. And so safety was a big factor and everyone should look out for everyone’s back. I was touched by her story and what she learned in life. I also realized that hard work really pays off. But only through that you can gain true happiness in life. I took off my mask and began talking about my past too. She told me to put every regrets and pass behind me and just keep moving forward and go on with life. It was a hard thing to do for we had something in common, a difficult past.

That night, I tried to forget every single thing that was holding me back from having a good life. I started to work as a cashier in a sundry shop. I also made sure that everything was safe. Later on, I found myself a wife, the most beautiful thing that ever happened in my life, was having her. She was the start of my happiness in life. I was very happy to have met someone like the old lady. She had taught someone like me to have a whole new life, a whole new beginning.

Hans was sitting behind the windowpane as usual, waiting for his sister to come home from school. He’d always admired his sister, Anne’s boyfriend, Ken. He was a role model to Hans and was good in basketball, badminton, studies and even playing video games. But Hans loved the Suzuki G- Rider that Ken had. Hans dreamt to have one of his own when he was qualified to ride one.

At last, he heard the sound of the Suzuki G- Rider coming in from the front door. He ran down the stairs just to look at that piece of beauty. Mum had to go out with Anne for an appointment and so she had Ken to look after Hans. Hans was thrilled because he loved the talks Ken and he had. He taught him all sorts of things from the techniques of basketball to girls.

But today was different. After chatting a little about the newest video game on web, Ken asked him whether Hans wanted to ride on his bike. Hans was hesitant because mum had said that little boys had to wait till they were old enough to have a license to drive a bike or a car. Ken said that he would drive him for a ride around the neighbourhood. Hans was comforted by the next offer. As soon he was ready to jump on the beauty he had been looking at for weeks, Ken stopped him.

Ken said:” Before you go onto the bike, let us play a little game.” Hans was puzzled by the look on Ken’s face. He thought it meant no harm to play a little game just before he went for a ride. “It is called the touching game. You let me touch your private part and I will let you touch mine”, said Ken. Hans was scared. For one thing it didn’t sound good and mum had taught him not to let others touch his private parts as it was very wrong and disrespectful.

While Hans was thinking what to do next, Ken approached him while unbuttoning himself. Hans was shocked because he never had someone with him alone before and this approach was very surprising. Hans decided to say “no” to Ken. He wanted to keep himself pure and also listen to his mum’s advice about not letting others touch our own private parts. He said: “No.” very softly at first but louder and louder as Ken came closer towards him. Hans could hear his heart beating faster and faster because of his fear. Suddenly the automatic gate sounded, “Mum was back at last!” thought Hans. He ran to the door while Ken got dressed. Hans ran into his mum’s arms. He told everything that had happened to his mum.

Mum then scolded Ken for disrespecting Hans and chased him out of the house. Anne, Hans’s sister was heartbroken because she was dating some one that she thought was ‘The One’. Mum was proud of Hans because he remembered what she had told him before: “Do not let others touch your private parts because everyone has a bubble that protects him and her.”

"Black straps" that save (story by me)

“Daddy, why must we always buckle up our seatbelts while you don’t?” “Well, darling that’s because I was in a rush. Thanks for reminding daddy.” I smiled to myself because I had done a life- saving thing. That was me. I was at an innocent and naive age then. But I was happy that I asked that. I wondered who invented them because they are such powerful little things that can save lives of those who put them on. Being currently on my sweet sixteen, I will always remember what those black straps did for me. I know a lot of teenagers hate seatbelts and think of them as “un-cool”. For me, those black straps were a great protection to me and will always be my hero.

I was nine then when everything happened. It was a sunny Saturday, We were planning to go to the beach to enjoy ourselves. Everything was prepared from the swimsuits to the sand pit tools to the food! We were all so excited. I was the first of my 3 other siblings to run to the car. Mummy said I was a good girl and she would let me sit in front. I was so happy that I dropped Caroline, my doll on the road when I was running to my princess seat.

As I looked around the car, everyone was happy. It had been quite a long time we had not had outings like that as a family due to the hectic life everyone had. I saw my older brother, Edmond with his hand phone, texting and I begin dreaming about mine. I asked my dad if I was old enough to get my own. He said that little girls like me should not have hand phones because they were just not mature enough to handle one. I was devastated when I heard daddy’s answer. Edmond turned to me and put out his tongue. “Esther is a baby girl! Esther is a baby girl!” Mummy shot him with a look that made him silent later on. I laughed to myself then. To cheer myself up, I went on telling dad what I would do if I had a hand phone. Daddy said I was a little chatterbox in the house and would not stop once I had a topic to talk on. I ignored the statement and went on telling everyone that I would bedazzle it with tiny little jewels and add a little flower on my phone. It would be filled with colourful stickers and dozens of key chains. Suddenly, something caught the side of my little eye. Daddy was not wearing his seatbelt again. I told him to wear it. Mummy said she was proud of me of doing the right thing. Boy, I was proud and beamed like a red tomato. My three other brothers just rolled their eyes.

It was a great journey there. Laughter was heard from every corner of the car for we were all jokers, especially my dad. We stayed far from town so it would take us quite some time to reach the beach. Just as we were crossing the junction, a car banged straight into us. It all happened so fast. The next moment I regained consciousness, I was already in the hospital. I had the worst injuries because the car banged straight onto me. I woke up seeing a doctor and nurse shaking their heads on my left and daddy mummy on my right crying while three of my brothers were right in front of my bed. Later on, the doctor told my parents to go outside for a talk about my condition. My three brothers told me that some drunken middle- aged men were locked up for drunk driving. They really did deserve that.

I was later told by my parents I was fine but I had fractured my left leg. I might need to be on a wheelchair for the time being. I was glad to know that my family members were fine and only suffered from some laceration wounds. What kept us safe? It was the seatbelts. I was happy that I listened to my teachers and remembered the buckle on your seatbelts advertisements. It is great to know that this little thing can actually save lives.

These are the injuries ive had this few days... oh borther =(

25-3-2010-- This injury was made when i pok kai on the stairs on the way to choir practice with a keyboard on my right hand=( i pok the piano also pok.xpxpxp hehe. people ask the piano got problem anot, dint ask my leg okay anot. =) hahaha. no la... some did ask, but i could feel the pain and dint see the bruise. untill i reach home =(

26-3-2010-- this one also blue black la... but not that obvious this one i both legs pok together and dint carry anything so not that serious. Erm, but little pin ny. =) the right leg got one, left leg also got. ish... i is soooo sad now =(

Trying to get my earing hole back. poke too hard dy i think... then blood come streaming and flowing out... its like... WOW. i know.. i also shock man. haha
Yeah.. this was how it came out. scary.ugh*shivers*

There was another injury the other day when mummy and daddy came back from Australia... Erjie bought my a very BIG bubblegum about the size of your fist (SERIOUS NOT KIDDING) then i suck it in my mouth and couldnt move my jaw AT ALL. so i went to take the chopping board and knife. i was so desperate to eat, i exert alot of strength and whole the bubblegum without thinking at all that it will roll coz its round and the chopping board was flat. so the first time i cute, KENA! then all my blood started flowing out from my index finger. filling the whole basin red in colour, pool of blood =( PAIN untill cannot shout. squezzing tears our of my eyes.

so now i wanna tell everyone: BERHATI -HATI!

March havent been interesting. Seriously.

but. LYPG made it whole =)

Today, was the 3rd lypg of the year. And my first time chairing it, i thank God he has helped me troughout the whole thing. Its like life, somehow. and Our scripture of the day was: Jeremiah 5.

( if youre reading this post, i would love you to open your bibles:) )

As those that didn't make it to lypg today, i will ... "'let you have the feeling" of it xp

well, one of the verses that touches me the most was:

¹⁸ "Yet even in those days," declares the LORD, "I will not destroy you completely.

Holiday, FUN much?

The best part I LOVE about holiday is that I can sleep LATE...

Even until the alarm rings and you will get up... just to off it =)

besides, you can sit in front of the comp OR lap top..

An play hours and hours not knowing what time is it!

And the bad part is...................

you need to study... (especially if next year is an "exam year", they call)

And because of the free-ness you have, there will be alot to do...

Schedules... Activities... all come rushing in like... WHOA~

And the arrangements part...

Drives you crazy+ insane.

O.O That is whats gonna happen.

BTW, i can work!

in a daycare centre, to be exact, my mum's. =)

And so... after berkumpuling at my house... bla bla bla, the INDIAN DANCE TEAM set out to M.S Garden at 1pm. We were late half- an hour but no one cared, We snapped photos along the way... too bored guar? hahahaha.

Its called RANDOM, girls!

When we arrived there, wanted to take picture but then... no where... M.S had mirrors.. big ones, indeed. And we were like, COOL. I really enjoyed these moments.. =) It makes me giggly..

Im gonna update update update.

So, actually we were supposed to join the other side but erm, it was in Angela's house and so we couldnt make it since it is gonna finish at 2pm... Sad case, we were looking forward in attending their cf. But anyway, God was so great that we could just carry out our cf... =)

Today, EMMELYN,YEAN RAAN, ALYSON,JASMINE and ME came. The worship session was fun and all... But Im sure we can improve it better. Ice breaking was funny and noisy with only all girls' screaming away-ay-ay.. Emmelyn shared and we had keropoks and orange juice, thanks to mummy! Oh yeah, before that, me, emm and yean raan had chicken rice. Yum!!

We had our first CF! =) Although numbers were few, but it was really fun and really good!

Emmelyn did the ice- breaker and I was leading worship and sharing too. Thank God for guiding us. Today we learned about dating. God teach us and helped us understand with lots of scriptures. We prayed as ended it and also did a little girl talk =P

It was really fun and it really brought us into something new =)

Today is so nice....

i got Pelajar Ceria prize =)

Although actually the reason teacher choose me is mainly because of my full kedatangan

(see? so we should not ponteng at all)

But it was worth it. I mean, yay!

Then, there was this Lencana Separuh thingi.

Oh well, i guess all these are actually kinda good.

HahaH, the amazing thing is.. our table ate the most man:

2 plates of nasi minyak
2 plates of curry thingi (exclude me, i dont eat spicy)
2 plates of some timun thingi (i dont eat it tooo)
1 plate of fried chicken ( we were too late =( )

=D and we ran home...

because the sesi pergambaran was making our parents wait to long...

it was such a prizey day =)

What a day man!

After a super great haircut, mum was deciding to bring me out to eat

(not because of haircut lah, is because today tak ada tuition)

And so, we went to this place FULL with insects flying HERE AND THERE.

I was like, EW! Help. Mummy!!!

Seriously...

Then it was saying grace time, So, i prayed:

Dear God, Thank you for the food and i pray that insects will NOT be in our dishes. In Jesus's precious name, Amen.

Ah. what a releive... THEN

We went to ENG HONG to buy wholemeal bread.

And guess what?

on the way BACK to the car, i STEPPED ON ...

SHIT.

Daddy and me.

I have known him for 14 years and a day...=)

He's the Best daddy I've ever had...

Im thankful that daddy was there everytime i needed him,

He seldom scolds me but was very patient with me when Im stubborn.=P

I seriously dont think i deserve such a good father...

He teaches me everything in life!

From how to ride a bike to doing some woodwork to painting gates and walls!

He makes sure my day is allllll going smooth too =)

He makes sure my tummy is filled with cereal and bread each morning I wake up,

He prepares a lunchbox for me every morning coz he knows that i dont eat spicy and all the food in school is filled with spicyness,

He waits for me everyday at the door afterschool and asks me what i wanna eat or even prepare my lunch for me, sometimes he suprises me with my favourites...

He takes me walks after dinner coz he says its good for digestion and stuffs...

He takes me cycling some days...

But often he brings me go for some badminton, and I LOVE IT.

he kisses me goodnight everyday and tucks me in my 'nest'.

This was in school. My daddy and mummy rushed to the school when i called and told them i had a full A's slip =D. But actually daddy know already...-_- but he wanted to suprise me.. LOLOLOL. He is full with suprises.

Ahh.. that day was like, the "TIRED-EST" day of my life... I refused to climb and daddy carried me ALL THE WAY UP to the peak of Sungai Lembing hill =) Managed to snap a photo there...

Seriously, I really miss the times when the whole world goes your way.

The world seems so perfect...

When you see your parents right in front of you, you know no harm will come onto you...

I had 3 siblings that protected me like a baby...

They loved me more than anything of the world...

I was the gold of the family a.k.a the youngest...

The so called spoiled one and the naughtiest one indeed...... xD

But then my world was quite hard when I turned 4...

Mummy was there everyday with me... i dint have the need to cry even the first day of school..

Mummy was principal =) but then...

I had to go school when I once could sit down and watch tv all day...

I had to mix around when I could have stayed at home meddling with stuff...

I had to learn word by word when I can mumble something that made everyone laugh..

I had to wait for mummy at the door after work to walk home to gether( which was beside the tadika) when you can see her every minute of the day...

But it was WAY fun... Those were the days where everybody WAS my friend...

The tadika was just nice for me to fit in...

Years pass... i was in the stage of life where i was a little confused...

example, dad & mum always asked me to watch tv when i was much younger because they dint want me to disturb them when they are working.. now? they dont want me to watch because its bad for the eyes...i became, miss little confused......

I had to go primary school after that little confused year...

I had to move from this small place to a bigger, gigantic building that freaked me out...

But i dint mind coz Daddy was there...

Although i dont get lunch boxes for lunch everyday like my friends do...

Daddy booked this small room for me to eat everyday... The canteen aunty laid a meal every recess for me... They smiled at me and complimented me everyday... I really missed them. And that was the day i met my childhood friend, he was a teacher's son... we still keep in touch till now... I had lots and lots of friends...

But i was quite naive... Coz, i dint know the world out there was so unlike my perfect world..

It had so many dangers...

I had a quite a number of true friends but there were fair- weathered friends too....

6 years... And i have been separated with my true friend.. Angel that ive known for 6 years..

to a total stranger place...

i cried and cried and refused to go there...

It was a girl secondnary school... I once told God i would NEVER IN MY LIFE wanna go to a girl school... And now here I am...

I still think back and regret......

I gave the school a chance to be in my life...

Oh well, i dint have any other choice...I couldnt have the say......

Im now scared... confused... yet im happy that in this time, God is still with me......

I couldnt find a TRUE human-ly friend just yet... but He is always beside me... Teaching me his ways, Guiding me...

Today... this very day, i turn 14......

My biggest wish ......

is ......

a secret... a mystery......

But i thank God, for those friends that once stood up for me...

those friends that were True...

although i dont really keep in touch with you guys...

Dr M: Don’t forsake English and ruin children’s future

PUTRAJAYA: Parents should think about the future of their children when deciding whether to agree or to oppose the Government’s proposal to make a pass in English compulsory for a student to pass the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, said former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

He said, English was a necessary component for students to get good jobs once they leave school or for them to go overseas for further education nowadays.

Honoured: Dr Mahathir receiving the honorary Doctorate of Humanity from Lim at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Cyberjaya yesterday. Seated on the left is Dr Mahathir’s wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali.

He said that when commenting on Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s statement that the ministry was mulling the possibility of making English a compulsory subject for passing SPM.

He said if parents continued to reject the importance of the English language in their children’s education, then the future of the country would be at stake.

He also slammed those who oppose the move saying that these people were less concerned about education than politics.

“It is more like politics than education. They are not interested in education or acquiring knowledge. All they want to see is how many votes they can win. So I am afraid the country will go to the dogs,” he told reporters after being conferred a honorary Doctorate of Humanity by the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology yesterday.

Asked about the possibility that the policy on the teaching of Mathematics and Science in English would be scrapped Dr Mahathir said: “I feel very sorry. In future, all Malays and Malaysians will be stupid.”

Earlier, he received the honorary doctorate from university president Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing.

Sports day is round the corner. WOW. I'm in St. John kawad...... The only thing that i don't like about it is...TAN- nessssssss. Now, almost everywhere i go, my peeps will say: "wah! esther! so dark dy arh? huiyorrr!" But i guess I'm already VERY dark and this makes me EVEN darker.
I am happy though... upgraded from last year's kawad in MAHSURI. goody-goody. So high class now, summore got shout a little commands...:) Anyway, our kawad is not that ogod for we like, only practice twice? but then, boleh tahan......Besides, let me tell you, we all main here and there... HOW TO WIN ...??? obvious question here...?
Lol. I love love love love love it when the weather is GREAT. Today is "raptai" day. Really, my feet hurts. But then it's worth the while...... So cool. We get to wear GLOVES. with our "so nice" uniforms... It certainly matches! Our school's sports day NEVER go to stadium lorh. Dunno why. Save cost guar.

First of all, i would like to Thank God for giving me BUSY-nesssss. Not because of anything la......I mean, i really thank it for letting me know alot of things in life. What is really being "a busy person".
I really love these days although it sometimes give me a headache or fustration. It is really different from primary school days. I mean, c'mon this is teenage... a journey to adulthood. What is the problem with a bit of busy- ness?
Erm, let's say now. I am the form representative for St john and choir club. I am the pianist for choir club. I am the conductor for choral speaking.I am under AJK keselamatan in pengawas board.I am joining St john Competition state comp. I really wanna thank God for letting me have experiences that i can learn from them in every part of my life.
Well, although all of these make me stay back from school everyday for a few weeks, but it is all worth it. reallly, this is what i call:

By eating, you really know how to be HAPPY. This dinner is BEFORE the day of the Reunion dinner... Aiyor.. rehearsal la....so let me introduce... the LIM FAMILY eating dinner... rehearsal, yeah, a very good one indeed.

So let me tell you this is our dinner table where we eat. nice? DUH! love it.
I sat beside the SPARKLING juice... my eyes SPARKLED beside it, while i was drinking... i was with SPARKLING eyes.. for the taste SPARKLES me. Okay, enuf with the sparkling story shall we end it? yes. Eating together really brings me back to the memmories that we've not spend due to the business. You know, the whole grow up thingi that keeps us away from HOME SWEET HOME?

Scene 1:
(Cinderella sits on the floor, scrubbing it)
(The stepsisters come on the stage)
Stepsister 1(Sabrina): Oh Cinder-relllaaa…. Have you finished making out dresses yet???
Cinderella: No, mother told me to scrub the floor… What’s the hurry?
Stepsister 2(Gertude): HA! What’s the hurry…?
Stepsister 1: The BALL! The BALL! The BALL! (Jumping up and down as she says it)
Stepsister 2: Don’t tell me you don’t know about the ball…
Cinderella: Erm… (Staring at them blur)
Stepsister 1: The ball I can see my prince charming…
Stepsister 2: The ball I can see my true love…

Well, this year's TNT' prayer and race was FUN!This was my 1st time going to a camp...It was nice... there was about 200 over participants there...I had alot of friends there...This year's theme was CONTAGIOUS. It teaches me to be cantagious about God's word...:) I miss my friends there...We kept in touch through chatting and e-mails...

But trust me, You won't regret going there...You will Love it!:P

Hrm.. haven't been UPDATING since form the superb HOLIDAY I've been spending with 5 loved ones ..XD you know what i mean...Family!(are you thinkin elsewhere?)
Anyway, I had just attended the 5th LYPG this afterning (between afternoon and evening) and i felt that this Youth gathering isn't about JUST coming... But it teaches us, the so called "young people" to PRAY.

Praying is actually very important in daily lives

And i don't think it is a hard way to do it actually. Just a few words like: Thank You , Lord for today you've given me.Is also a Prayer. So day by day we can learn longer and longer ones!:) Well, GOd will teach you Step by Step, Bit by Bit. Learning will take time.

i remember when i was like 5 years or even younger, i often see my dad, mum and siblings pray in "alien" words. That was scary tho... btw, my family has a time a prayer where everybody come together as a family and PRAY. So, day by day i learned and someday i would like to learn how to pray in tougues! And also, you can use YOUR creativity to pray! Well, i have a few TYPES of prayer in my everyday life:

Normal "speak out Loud" prayer ( this is when i feel totally normal)
Silent prayer ( when im not in the mood to speak or when a sorethroat comes)
Writting prayer (i normally do this in my diary and in case you did'nt know, I'm having my 23rd one now...:P)
Singing prayer ( i know this is kinda wierd but really, i sing while praying)
Chatting prayer ( i talk to God as Im talking with my peeps. and just... chat!)

The baking day

Hohoho.... i had my baking lessons as in the second time. by -my big sis- as in a QUITE pro baker. Anyway, this is what we bake today. WE bake. (please pay attention, i baked also). So, this is what turn out (my sis's cake). Opening... opening....

TADA. this is soooooooo chocolaty!

And we ate. as in ONE piece.

and another and another.

Well, we kept eating it.
It is less then a quarter now...

And POOF! no more for you . sorry.

Okay,Enough with the drama. Well, that was actually my sis's cake, which turned out: so call PERFECT. Well, sad to say.. there was some tiny- winy "mistake" which is, erm, as you know. Well, haiz~ fine! the truth comes out.

So, We need to put eggs into the pan ( and btw, this cake doesn't need mixer) and i put it in and din stir it. so, my pan kinda COOKED the egg and there are little pieces of fried eggs in my pan that also turned out in the cake had erm, little pieces of little thingies (eggs) which look like white hazel nuts?

BUt, it is NICE EXPERIENCE for me tho... :) LOVE IT.
